Rescue Ends Tonight - Allocate Your Funds & Get Others Involved by 11:59 Tonight

The Stop MN Gas Tax Hike Mission is in the final hours of rescue. This is the last chance for people to get involved and be part of this historic event that will change the course of politics in our country. Your support of this Mission will help set the stage for creating your own missions on the issues and candidates you care about, so even if the MN Gas Tax isn't top of your lists, the success of this Mission is crucial.

Over the weekend, a number of grassroots activists have supported the Mission by posting updates and messages within the Galt.io Community. We've shared one such update below and it's well worth the read as this type of grassroots activity is crucial to any mission.

Funding levels for the spending proposals are noted below (as of the time this email was written). Please view the most current results at https://www.galt.io/missions/NoGasTax/ and make sure your allocations are up to date. All unallocated pledges will be re-allocated to successfully funded proposals at the close of the Mission.

The Rescue period will end TONIGHT, April 21 at 11:59pm CT. Now is the time to be part of history and help make this Mission a success. PLEASE SHARE THIS MISSION WITH YOUR FRIENDS!

Member Update:
Galt.IO is about taking action.  It’s time to learn from our experience and kick it into high gear

Frankly, I have followed the Mission and the Cause for a couple of months.  I have been puzzled by the relative lack of activity with the Cause and the limited number of dollars contributed by a limited number of persons to the Mission.  The Cause is closed when the Gas Tax passes.

Should the proposed Gas Tax become law, each of you that operate motor vehicles will spend far more dollars yearly than the average contribution to date for the Mission.  Go figure.

Speaking for myself, I cannot pass up the opportunity to combine my contribution with like minded persons to impact the confiscatory tax environment of the state in which I reside.  Can you?

#1.  Forward the email from Alex Huff to your like minded friends, family and coworkers.  Ask them if they believe paying a higher gas tax is a good thing for them and their family.  Ask them to follow the link and contribute by credit card while they still have the opportunity.

#2.  Calculate your own estimated dollar value for the Gas Tax.  Now, multiply that by the number of years that you plan to reside in Minnesota.  I suggest that figure as a reasonable amount to supplement your contribution to date or to make your initial contribution.  Be brave!

#3.  Contact your legislators via email, snail mail or show up in his/her office.  Let them know how the Gas Tax negatively impacts your family. Be persuasive!

  1. I follow your blog for a while already and must say that I find it very useful. Also I see that a lot of entrepreneurs are following you and I suppose that info about
virtual data room software might be very interesting for them to study.
